Okay, so I wanted to figure out who the fastest running back is in Madden 24. I’ve been playing a lot of franchise mode lately, and speed kills, right? So, I started by just jumping into the game.
Digging into Rosters
First, I went straight to the “Roster” section in Madden. I figured I could just scroll through each team and check out the running backs’ speed ratings. That…took a while. There are a LOT of players in this game.
After looking at, like, five teams, I realized this was going to take forever. There had to be a better way. I thought about looking online, but honestly, sometimes those lists are outdated or just plain wrong. Plus, where’s the fun in that? I wanted to discover it myself!
Experimenting in Practice Mode
So, I backed out of the roster screen and headed into practice mode. My idea was to grab a few running backs that I thought were fast, based on what I’d seen, and just test them out.
- I picked De’Von Achane from the Dolphins – he seemed super quick.
- I also grabbed Raheem Mostert, also from the Dolphins because I knew that has some speed.
- Then I selected Jahmyr Gibbs from the Lions.
I basically just ran a bunch of plays with each of them. I tried to get a feel for their acceleration and top speed. Honestly, they all felt pretty fast! It was tough to tell just by eye who was the absolute fastest.
Confirm by checking the player’s detailed data.
Finally, I went back to roster to confirm their detail data.
I clicked De’Von Achane’s profile, His speed is 98, that is awesome!
Then, I opened Raheem Mostert’s profile. He is 95 speed. It’s also fast, but not fastest.
The last one is Jahmyr Gibbs, I saw his speed is 94, I am a little bit disappointed.
My (Not-So-Scientific) Conclusion
Based on my totally unscientific testing, and finally confirm their data. I’m going to say De’Von Achane is probably the fastest running back in Madden 24. At least, he feels like it, and data show me the fact!
It’s not a perfect method, I know. But it was fun to try and figure it out myself. Now, I need to go build my franchise team around this speedster!
