Yo, lemme tell you somethin’ ’bout that Stephen Curry, the basketball fella. Everybody talkin’ ’bout his eyes. Say he the best shooter. Shoot that ball good, that boy. He make the ball go in the hoop, swish, nothin’ but net. I seen it on the TV. He sure is somethin’.

But they say he got somethin’ wrong with his eyes, too. Some kinda…kera-somethin’. Makes his eyes blurry, like lookin’ through a dirty window. Can’t see too good, they say. That means he can’t see clear. It’s his eye condition. But he still shoot that ball! How ’bout that?

  • He got that blurry vision.
  • They call it kera… keratoconus. I can never say it right.
  • He wear them special glasses, them contacts.

Yeah, he wears them contact lens things. Help him see better, I guess. He can see the hoop now. Smart boy. He needs to see the basketball hoop to put the ball in! But they say he can’t get that laser thing done. You know, that thing where they zap your eyes with a light? Nope, can’t do that. His eyes is too messed up.

That Stephen Curry’s eyes ain’t perfect, but he still shoot better than anyone. He shoots 42.5 percent of his threes in his career. They say he got some kinda special trainin’ too. He got good eyes. He can see those little lights flashin’ and gotta hit ’em. Trainin’ his eyes and his hands. Keeps his eyes sharp, I reckon. Gotta be quick, like a rabbit. And he gotta move his hands fast, too. Gotta have good hand-eye somethin’. Hand-eye coordination, that’s it! Coach says it’s elite. That means it’s real, real good. Top-notch, you know? I guess that’s why he makes so many shots. He can make shots when he cannot see well.

He practice a lot, that Stephen Curry. Works hard, they say. Gotta keep them eyes strong and that shot smooth. He the best shooter in the NBA. He the best shooter ever! Can you imagine that? And he get good sleep. That is important. Sleep eight hours. That is what I heard.

They say he sleeps a lot, too. Like eight hours every night! That’s a long time. I don’t even sleep that long. But he needs it, I guess. Keeps him rested. Gotta be rested to play that basketball. Especially with them eyes. He sleeps the same time every day. Helps his body know when to sleep, I suppose. Like a clock, tick-tock, tick-tock. Smart boy. His sleep is consistent. He takes his sleep very seriously.

So, that Stephen Curry, he got some trouble with his eyes, that kera-thing. But he don’t let it stop him. He wear them contacts, he train his eyes, he sleep good. And he shoot that ball like nobody’s business. He the best there is. He just the best, period.

That boy, he somethin’ else. He sure can play. He overcome that blurry vision. That’s for sure. He don’t let nothin’ hold him back. That condition is chronic. Stephen Curry’s eyes are somethin’ to talk about, ain’t they? He the best player!

They say the cornea is involved. Whatever that means. It’s part of the eye, I think. It’s progressive. Don’t know what that means neither. But it sounds serious. Poor fella. But he still out there, playin’ his heart out. Bless his heart. He’s a good boy, that Stephen Curry.

  • Stephen Curry has eye problems.
  • Stephen Curry trains his eyes.
  • Stephen Curry sleeps a lot.

That boy, Stephen Curry, his eyes might be a little wonky, but he a real inspiration, you know? Shows you that even when things ain’t perfect, you can still do great things. He just keeps on shootin’, no matter what. I sure do like watchin’ him play. He’s a good one, that Steph Curry. The best! He’s the greatest shooter of all time!

They say he got astigmatism. Makes things blurry. He sees things blurry, poor guy. But, like I said, he don’t let it stop him. Nope. He just keeps on going. He has good vision in the court. That’s what they say. He’s the best, even with blurry vision. That’s all that matters, right? He’s the best. That’s all I know.
