Okay, so I wanted to dig into the past results of the Sentry Tournament of Champions. You know, get a feel for who’s dominated, any trends, that sort of thing. Here’s how I went about it:
My Little Research Project
First, I needed to find a place to check the past results, I needed some raw data, somewhere that had all the winners and scores neatly laid out.
Then I started going through the results, year by year. I wasn’t looking for anything super specific at first, just wanted to get a general overview.
Here is what I was looking for :
- Who won? Obviously!
- What was their final score? Gotta see how low these guys can go.
- Any repeat winners? These guys I put in a special group.
- Any crazy margins of victory? Those are always fun to see.
I started putting it all into a simple list I am keeping, just to make the whole project that I am working on easier to look at.
It was cool that I was able to look at the old results and see the history of the game unfold. Some seriously impressive golf has been played over the years!
