Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “Shape of Wisdom” thing popping up in my Genshin Impact feeds and finally decided to dive in and figure it out. It’s all about that new event, right? Let me walk you through what I did.
First Steps: Finding the Event
First, I logged into the game, obviously. Then I had to find the event. It wasn’t on the main screen, I had to go through a few steps and figure out how the game event works.
I fumbled around in the event menu for a bit – it’s always a little confusing when a new event drops. Eventually, I found “Shape of Wisdom” nestled in there. Clicked on it, and… more menus! Gotta love Genshin’s layered menus.
The Actual Gameplay
So, the core of the event is these puzzles. You’re given a target shape and a bunch of, like, Tetris-looking blocks. The goal is to arrange the blocks to perfectly fill the target shape.
I started with the first puzzle, which was super simple. I think it was just to ease everyone in. Dragged a few blocks around, and boom, done! I felt pretty smart, not gonna lie.
- Rotating the blocks: I found out pretty quickly that you gotta rotate the blocks to make them fit. There’s a little button to click for that.
- Overlapping is a no-no: You can’t overlap the blocks. That was my first mistake, and the game gives you a nice red highlight when you mess up.
- Filling every space, to pass these challenges, it must fill up every space of the shape.
Getting Trickier…
The next few puzzles were a bit more challenging. I had to think a little harder, move the blocks around more strategically. There was one that stumped me for a good five minutes, I had to use the “Hint” option. It shows you, step by step, how to get the correct answer.
I felt a bit of shame of using it, but I move on.
Rewards and Stuff
Of course, you get rewards for completing the puzzles. The usual stuff: Primogems, Mora, some of those experience books. You know, the currency to keep you coming back for more.
I blasted through all the puzzles they had available today. I’m guessing they’ll unlock more each day, like they usually do with these events.
My Overall Take
It’s a fun little event. The puzzles are a nice change of pace from the usual combat grind. Not super difficult, but they make you use your brain a bit. Good for some quick rewards and a little sense of accomplishment. Plus that little hit of feeling like I am actually smart after solving this puzzle.
