Alright, let’s talk about my time messing with the Conquest mode in Marvel Snap. I kept seeing folks talking about it, mostly chasing those cool variants you can only get there. So, I thought, why not? Let’s see how it goes.

Best Strategy for Getting Conquest Variants Marvel Snap? (Tips for Winning More Conquest Games)

Getting My Feet Wet

I started off, naturally, in the Proving Grounds. Didn’t cost anything to enter, just needed to win one match to get a Silver ticket. Sounded simple. First few games were okay, a mix of stuff. Some folks were clearly just trying things out, others were playing pretty meta decks even down there. The weirdest part was playing the same person multiple times in a row. You really start to learn their deck and their plays. Lots of bluff snapping, trying to psych each other out. Took me a few tries to consistently grab those Silver tickets, not gonna lie.

Climbing the Ladder… Sort Of

Okay, so armed with Silver tickets, I jumped into the Silver Conquest. This felt different. People were definitely trying harder here. Needed more wins to advance, and the matches felt longer, more draining. I stuck with a deck I knew well, figured consistency was key. Made it through Silver a few times, which felt pretty good. Getting those Gold tickets felt like a real step up.

Gold Conquest… man, that’s where it got properly sweaty. You need a Gold ticket just to enter, and the competition is fierce. Lots of Destroy decks, Thanos, High Evo – the usual suspects. Every cube felt important. I remember one match that went down to the wire, both of us on 1 health point left in the final round. My heart was pounding! It took ages to actually win a Gold Conquest. Seriously, multiple attempts over several days. Burning through tickets, feeling frustrated, then finally getting that win felt amazing, but exhausting.

The Real Prize? Medals and Variants

Throughout all this, win or lose, you’re slowly stacking up medals. That’s the currency for the Conquest shop. And let’s be honest, that’s what I was really after. Saving up enough medals for that exclusive variant felt like the main goal.

Here’s the grind part:

  • You play a bunch in Proving Grounds for Silver tickets.
  • You use Silver tickets to hopefully win and get Gold tickets (and some medals).
  • You use Gold tickets to really grind for more medals and that Infinity ticket.
  • Win or lose, you get some medals, but winning gives way more.

I finally scraped together enough medals after what felt like forever. Went into the shop, looked at that variant I’d been eyeing… clicked purchase. Felt good. Was it worth the hours? Hmm. It’s a different kind of satisfaction than hitting Infinite on the ladder. It feels more like an achievement earned through sheer persistence.

So, What’s the Verdict?

Conquest is… intense. It’s a time sink, for sure. If you like that high-stakes, tournament-style play against the same opponent, testing your deck and your nerve over multiple rounds, you’ll probably enjoy it. If you’re just trying to get cool variants, be prepared for a serious grind. It burns you out sometimes. I definitely needed breaks. I got the variant I wanted for now, not sure how often I’ll put myself through the whole Gold/Infinity gauntlet again unless there’s another reward I really want. It’s there, it’s tough, and it definitely rewards dedication (or maybe just stubbornness).
